What You’ll Learn in Fire Extinguisher Awareness Training
In this course, participants will learn how to identify common fire hazards, understand the different classes of fires, and select the appropriate type of fire extinguisher for each situation. Training includes a breakdown of fire behavior, how extinguishers work, and the PASS technique—Pull, Aim, Squeeze, and Sweep—for safe and effective use. Attendees will also learn when it’s safe to attempt extinguishing a fire versus when to evacuate and call emergency services, ensuring they can make quick, informed decisions in a real emergency.
