AVIRT Hybrid

  • AVIRT is training designed to help individuals and teams recognize threats early, make decisions under pressure, and take practical protective actions during violent incidents.

  • AVIRT is designed for all staff, including supervisors, frontline employees, reception teams, and anyone responsible for safety or emergency coordination. It is especially relevant for organizations with public-facing operations, high foot traffic, or elevated risk environments.

  • AVIRT covers situational awareness, threat recognition, decision-making under stress, lockdown and evacuation options, basic bleeding control (including tourniquet use and direct pressure), and emergency communication.

  • AVIRT certification is valid for two years. We recommend a full class every two years, with an online refresher in between, based on your workplace, staffing, and risk level.
