WORKPLACE REQUIREMENTS
Workplace and Regulatory Training Requirements
Many roles require CPR and first aid training and documented completion. We support workplace requirements and industry expectations, including employer policies and regulatory standards where applicable. FACTS delivers nationally recognised programs through the American Heart Association (AHA) and Health and Safety Institute (HSI), with completion documentation appropriate to the training delivered.
Common workplace expectations
Many employers require trained responders and documented completion to meet regulatory expectations, licensing requirements, contract standards, or insurer policies.
Hands-on skills testing is required for course completion and issuance of completion documentation (online-only training is not sufficient for most workplace requirements).
Training should match the hazards, staff roles, and work environment.
Renewal timelines vary by program, many are issued on a two-year cycle.
Common training needs by setting
Construction and industrial teams: Adult CPR/AED and adult first aid
Healthcare and clinical roles: AHA BLS Provider or CPR training accepted by your employer
Childcare and youth-serving roles: Child and infant CPR plus pediatric first aid.
